    I would have said sand, but if they're clear vases that might look kind of weird. Maybe pebbles or glass beads?

    Put marbles or some other sort of heavy filling in the bottom.

    Go to Walmart or a craft store and get some rocks or marbles or something like that to put in the bottom of the vase. Maybe even potpourri.

    Glass beads. You can get some at Michael's Arts and Crafts. They come in all different colors, at a reasonable price, so you can make it any way you so choose.

    Either put florist's clay, that green syrofoam looking stuff, in the bottom of the vase and stick the stems deep into it OR you could use clear tape to make a criss cross grid over the top and put the flowers in through the spaces.
