Why do the blooms on my Peace Lily turn from white to green?
Posted on Aug 31, 2009 under dried foliage | 1 CommentThe plant is very healthy and foliage is beautiful. The blooms are also pretty but not like they were when they were white.
I keep it in filtered light, 78 degrees in the house and only water when it dries out on top.
Woe is me, what am I doing wrong and how can I correct this.
Thanks plant lovers!
It is normal, some do and some don’t.
I have five Peace Lilies and only one has the bloom that turns green..
The others turn brown. It happens as the flower ages..
You may also experience both of these conditions on the same plant. We usually find the flowers turning green when they have been pollinated and seed has been set.
Don’t worry..sounds like your doing everything right.
