Let’s Get Crafty!: Mini Wedding Cake Favors

I do not have a wedding coming up, but I saw this craft and knew I had to share it all with you. You should definitely do more adornments on this than I had on hand.
You will need two 3-inch round paper machie box and one 2-inch round paper machie box and this will create TWO wedding favors.
Quick dry glue or Beacon Fabri-Tac
Krylon Gesso spray (if you can find it, I just got the paint)
Any lace or add-ons you like. Pearls, flowers, bows,
One tea light per favor.
Candy, etc. to put inside of your favor.
GET CREATIVE, this is only how to put it together. They do not have to be identical!

I’m always behind …
I’m always behind in watching videos.. cool crafting Beth! We did something similar for mother’s day one year. we had kids make cakes for their mom with a gift inside. It was so much fun. Then we invited the mother’s to school for a mother’s day tea and the kids sung songs and stuff for the moms. Your’s turned out great!

Those really did …
Those really did come out great. So simple and yet very nice. I also liked sewsweet08′s idea about using it for other events. Easy but again = really fun. We found clear glass fish bowls for our wedding. I used ivory cloths on the table, ran wide ribbon down the center, then set the fish bowl. Each one had a couple of grasses inside the bowl at the center and there were 3 daisy heads floating in the bowl. A few ‘petals’ in color that matched the ribbon and voila – simple and nice.

you could make a cute birthday cake and inside put the money for a teen or child’s bank account or even voucher or gift card if it fit.

I might make some little pink birthday cakes for my niece’s (Strawberry Shortcake) upcoming birthday. Seems fitting, I made her your flower pens last year! I’d throw some quilled flowers on it of course!
